New FMG game by runonpu

I've recently been following runonpu on deviantart and he's just finished a game in which you are given a month to help a young girl gain massive amounts of muscle. I'm not sure about the specifics of the game since my computer can't display Japanese characters correctly, but he is working with others to produce an English version. Here's his DA account:

You should be able to follow the second link in his journal comments to his blog. (?) Go to his latest post to get the link to the download site. Once there, press the button to the right of the orange button to download the game.

Nevermind, had to set non-unicode character display to Japanese. Seems to display the text now.

Oh man. Makes me wish I spoke Moonspeak. I can't make heads or tales of this and doing it by trial and error is taking awhile. Anyone offering hints?

I don't speak Japanese myself, so i figured out that you just need to buy all the things you can find in the 4th button submenu and train with this "things" as long as the timeline shows in the menu above this buttons (there is a number between all the japanese that counts down). Don't sell this "things" again when they get to the top menu (took me houres to find this out ) after you have bought and traind everything in this list you can look like this by the 29th-31th of a month.

but until you get there you will have to run the game again and again to get enough money... the last item costs 200.000 of what ever this is (it takes ages...).

i don't know if you can grow even more...

Settings >> Control Panel >> Regional and Language Options

First Add Japanese Fonts to your system...

Languages Tab >> Check The Checkbox "Install Files for East Asian Languages"

Tell Windows to Display Non-Unicode Text in Japanese (This is why you can't see the text)

Advanced Tab >> Language for Non-Unicode Programs

Select Japanese

Advanced Tab >> Code page Conversion Tables (I think you need this too, not 100%)

Make sure 10001 (MAC - Japanese) is checked


Click Apply (or Click OK)

That's why the good old desktop is still the best. Even if it is 5 years old and can't run anything worth a crap...
Anyway, didn't know it was finished...Thought he was doing both versions at the same time. Seems nice. Thanks for the link.

For those a bit confused with the controls, the first tan button next to the big picture is to train. The next one to the right is to have the girl rest for a bit, which it seems you need to do after every training session. I'm not sure exactly what the third one does, but it looks like it skips a day. The fourth button brings up some sort of menu, but what it does is beyond me. I personally think it's used to buy new weights or something for her. The fifth button will only appear when there is a tournament. (If I'm reading the visual cues correctly.) The last button is used to quit the game, and it seems that it automatically saves when you quit. There is also clickable text in the top-most large box, but since my computer doesn't display Japanese characters, it's difficult to see what's going on. There are also sometimes choices in the text box on the bottom of the screen. If you can't see these choices, (like me) then you can use the arrow keys to select a response, and the spacebar or enter to confirm that response.

I hope this explanation helps. I hope the English version comes out soon since I can only get so far without knowing what stuff does. Until then, Good luck trying to win the third tournament!
