Vampire girl AP
This is a comic a friend of mine did for me. I told him what happened and he drew it. It may become a full webcomic someday with a different artist, I'll be writting the script.

Tell your friend that his comic is just superb.
To the last picture: Did the maid become also a vampire? Hope to see more of it. Captain Ash

If I'm reading it right, it seems the maid is under some hypnotic spell and now 'watches' her.
Or maybe the vampire wanted somewhere to sit ![]() |

The vampire mythos has different ways of creating vampires.
One way is the regular embrace, where the vampire feeds their own blood to their target after sucking out a substantial amount of their blood. This works best for vampires existing in the world proper as they can control their own population. Another way is simply by biting the victim and transmitting vampirism as a disease. I dislike this way of creating vampires because it's simply the least convenient and controllable way of handling vampires as a whole. This would mean they would usually have to kill most of their victims to keep themselves hidden. Yet another way of transmitting vampirism is through the vampire giving birth to a child. This is also how dhampirs have come into existence (half-vampires in other words). I think the other girl in the picture is a ghoul, that is to say, a vampire's thrall. They serve as the vampire's servant and are usually devoted considerably to the vampire, taking care of their needs and other tasks. Not too bad a process either... but could be a little clearer. |

Usually the vampire will make a cut on his or her tongue before kissing. The kiss will transfer the vampire's blood and cause infection. Thus the vampire's kiss. A good example of vampires is in the manga series, "The Laughing Vampire" by Suehiro Maruo. Just as a warning, his series are very grim but very artistic. Easily one of my favorites. This is my world and my idea, so I'm making the rules; vampires cannot be born in this world I've created, the vampire girl (I'm gonna call her Angela Christensen) was not born, nor turned into one. her parents created her through alchemy and sorcery. |

I read up on wikipedia about werewolves and pretty much what it said was that the silver part was pretty modern created through literature. "Most modern references agree that a werewolf can be killed if shot by a silver bullet, although this is more a reflection of fiction's influence than an authentic feature of the folk legends. A werewolf can be killed by complete destruction of heart or brain; silver isn't necessary." Ah well. If anyone wants to read up more: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Werewolf I might have missed where the silver part came from if it was in the original folk legends. |
