Ha ha ha, last scene in Dr. Who for this season

The Doctors face is just priceless, he's like "OMGWTF?"

But to be honest, i'd be like that too if Santa just walked into the Tardis.

Simon Pegg as Santa? LOL!

I think you mean: "Ho, Ho, Ho"

My question is...did Missy actually die, or did she teleport out at the last moment...I'm thinking the latter.

Yes, it was the transporter effect. She has the thrill of making him kill her without actually dying.

I'm personally thinking that bringing the master back...even as a female was lazy writing.

I personally would have made it so that Missy was actually Jenny, the female clone of the Doctor, under control of an evil entity, maybe part of the master.

It wasn't lazy writing. It made complete sense, since The Doctor saved Gallifrey and The Master was ON Gallifrey thanks to the events that happened with the 10th Doctor. It makes perfect sense that The Master could return at that point. It was also, and more importantly, them testing something:

People have been wanting a Female Doctor for some time, and I believe them bringing us a female MASTER instead was to test how the majority of people would react to a major character suddenly changing genders.

I feel if Missy went over well, they will do a Female Doctor in the future.

Because it was still non canon. Doesn't matter who wrote it.

So, the master actually has a pair of etheric beam locators now...and they both have on/off switches.
