Minor process in a story of mine...

I did a pilot chapter for a series where everyone in the world gains animal traits and has to deal with said traits. Anyways, only process is near the end of the first chapter, the rest of the fic about how society and my main characters adapt to their changes. I was inspired by 'The Three Sisters' by MWE on Doc's lab, a hentai comic with the same concept (sorry, forgot the name and source), and a differen't anthro fic I did as a one-shot.

I've been mulling over a similar scenario in my head for the past few weeks, so this is quite a coincidence! Good story so far, though.

One tiny problem I had with it was in part 3, during the girls' induction speech, where their teacher miraculously knew almost everything about what had happened - including that 13-year-olds are sexually active and go into "heat" - despite it only being two days after the event occurred. Unless you want people to deliberately think "How does he know so much?"...

Also, you might say "A wizard did it", but I'd be very surprised if society could piece itself back together in two weeks after such an event, let alone two days.

The principle is just an informer. The governments of the world and the scientific community are the ones who were toiling for 2 days straight to figure it all out. Maybe I should have given it more time *shrugs*. Anyways, how everyone changed is not the focus, it's just how everyone deals with it. The next chapter deals with the heat cycles girls go through. Also, I mentioned in Chapter 2 that not all of the world is peacefully going through this. 2nd and 3rd World nations are in chaos and all developed nations had to use their military and law enforcement agencies as one massive-crowd control, practially issuing martial law to maintain peace the best way possible.

I'm really not meaning to be harsh on this, as it is a good story, but you can't expect anyone to come out with sweeping statements like "all female Anthros go into heat for two days" when only two days has passed since the phenomenon. That's not long enough to run a scientific study to determine whether this applies to all subspecies or just some, which is one of the first things that should be determined.

But as you say, the story is character-driven, and bogging it down with science wouldn't be good for it. I'm just very logical and analytical when it comes to continuity - it's the Star Trek nerd in me
