CGsociety site
Just stumbled across this site a few days ago...http://www.cgsociety.org .For those that already know of it ,apologies!
We think we are getting better with a wacom and photoshop.. We play with poser/vue and start to explore modeling and textures... We know we have a long way to go, but them we see the artworks on this site and realize we are not fit to empty the piss pots of some of these people.. makes ya humble... |

of course, these guys use industry standard things like expose, and maya with high res textures and the like. |

My bad..I ment me....I can agree with you on looking at the 3D art gallery...The 2D gallery through is mostly people using Photoshop and a tablet...even a few that were made with a mouse. There are some incredibly talented people posting in the 2D gallery . The 3D gallery has a lot of high end users that also touch up in photoshop, 3DS max with v-ray plug-in seems to be a favorite in 3D. Throught some here might like seeing what can be done with a tablet and photoshop. |
