What Would Be Your Perfect BE Game
I've been thinking for a while about doing some more side projects and it got me thinking... what about an online BE game?
There would be several things to decide here, including what platform (flash? unity? something else?), what genre or style of game, what each world/level might be like, things you can do in the game, etc. I think of the best games as being never-ending, so that would mean either sequels or expansion packs (haha yes!). I also like the idea of having backstory or quest text being something like a good BE story. Of course as many great BE animations as we can fit would be good, and tons of interactive BE would be awesome. What about different girls? Would you have people join your party, or would it be more like you can start over with a new girl you make in the character creator? If it was multiplayer what would the multiplayer interaction be like? Something straightforward like avatar chat, or maybe something more experimental like being randomly selected as "growers" and "growees". ![]() Imagine, what would your perfect BE game be like? I'd like to hear your ideas and inspirations to help me guide my motivations. |

I've always been found of the exploration in adventure games (i.e., Jak and Daxter). Throw in some puzzle elements, and you got me hooked

games in the style of the old Kings Quest and Leisure Suit Larry are simple and great for for this kind of stuff because they can be story intricate, can be adapt to handle nearly endless situations, offer large worlds to explore and are relativity simple to script and update.
But in truth as long as it includes a BE gun I would be happy

I llike where this thread is going.
I've been working on a "Hentai beat-'em-up" inspired by games such as Saa Ushida, Spanner-Chan: The Assault Engineer, and MURAMASA: The Demon Blade. Let's just say that it's going to have a lot of action. It basically involves a girl (Mordia) and a demonic bikini (Maxwell) she's wearing working together to defeat a Succubus (Lithal) that cursed/transformed both of them. As you level up and gain "curse control points" to distribute, you can change up the gameplay by unlocking new attacks at the cost of letting something "grow" out of control. Like if you spend all your points on "Ass/Pussy Control", then Mordia's breasts will grow to cover her Torso and constantly lactate, making movement difficult. Similarly, if you spend all your points on "Breasts/Lactation", then Mordia's sexual senitivity will sky rocket and her ass will grow; making it more difficult to escape rapings from tentacle monsters and demons. And that's just the relations for Mordia's T&A. There's also Maxwell's Power to give a temporary demongirl transformation and Morality to add a bit of a mind control element to it all, as well as influencing the game ending. I still have a lot to work out with it though. I got a plot going sort of, but I need to think of what happens next in the story, lead it up to a fight with Lithal, and figure out how I can make multiple endings depending on the stats. Then I need to find artists, composers, and the usual. I can probably handle the game programming myself.

Haha, gotta love Muramasa. Finally got Oboro Muramasa just yesterday. And so ends the off-topic portion of my post.
Well, you have a few ways you can do this. You could just use a simple create your own game engine like RAGS or GameMaker; usually you can pull off pretty good results all things considered. If you have some programming experience though, you can build a more complete game. If you do, I'd probably suggest building it in Actionscript 3 (Flash), simply due to ease and speed of development. If you don't know it, it's easy to pick up, and is just plain faster to quickly build stuff in than C++ or other programming languages. As far as suggestions go, it really depends on how far you plan to take this. Puzzle / Platforming games instantly come to mind. Either way, you're probably on the right track asking the community what they'd like to see. Personally, I'd like to see other processes as well, but if it's just BE than having your movement change as your breast size increases would be neat. If you decide to make it in Flash, I'll race you to building one though! :P |

Other thoughts: Sounds like multiplayer isn't really important. There is talk of "altering people around you" but it seems like everyone would prefer those to be NPCs. Is that right? Thanks for your feedback and ideas, satistaspawn. Also, supermikeman, care to elaborate on your thoughts on how a BE sim game would work? For those that voted for Something Else- will you please post your ideas? I want to know what game type or mechanic you are thinking. If you don't post anything, I'll just assume you don't know yourself. That's true, and not all that surprising that you would have a harder time with ActionScript, particularly AS3. With GameMaker it's a lot easier and quicker to build a full game with, as it's a complete game engine you're working off of; technically all you have to do to build a simple game is script some logic and put up a few events, and the engine handles the rest. Whereas AS3 requires a bit more knowledge of game programming practices, such as collision as you pointed out, to build a solid game.
It's not really worth arguing over though, since it's all a matter of tastes; potatoe potato. There's nothing wrong with either choice, I just prefer AS3 since it allows a bit more freedom. |

Making all the effects permanent may reduce the range of possibilities, maybe any temporary changes when they are removed your character doesn't quite return to her normal self allowing a slow process throughout the game while still experiencing faster and more obvious changes while your playing. You may want to include quests where you are asked to retrieve item that will cause a temporary change when in your inventory that would also impede your movement forcing you to take an alternate route from the one you came because you no longer fit. Design the game with enemies that have powers that make you grow for a short time slowing you down and making you less agile or have the effects last until you can use a specific medicine/potion or visit a "healer"
Also if the effects are only focused around breast size it will feel a little repetitive after a long period of play. I'm not saying you have to go down the road of furry transformations but you can effect the firmness of the characters breasts and lactation, a nice big round bottom isn't bad either; longer legs and hair, a waist line ranging from curiously thin to almost full term pregnant, if there any harm doing something like and item when equipped gives kitty ears and a tail to give the character heightened senses in order to locate a missing person or item, maybe a spell for wings to get airborne in a certain area. You could give the player the ability to learn how to effect other characters in the game but be careful cause they wont be very happy with you afterward. as the game gets further along you may want to use items to keep your size down and you abilities up, because the larger you are the harder it is to sneak and you way more so you speed and the height of you jumps aren't impressive at all and being as big as you are, you make an easy target for your opponents. |

I'm really liking the sounds of this project, you have my full spport in this, too bad I was never good at programing, or any good with flash. I do like the idea where if you concentrate on one stat and keeping it small while another one opposite of it will get bigger [ie breast vs. ass/pussy] I also like the idea of having that you can alter the apperance of the people around you, if you do decide to have that you should make it that what alternation you do to the people around should be perminet
