Something OTHER than No Script?
I've been using it for months with little to no problem, but with the latest version I downloaded all my emails' scripts stop responding (even the safe ones) and I can't open any. If I try to, Firefox freezes and I have to shut the program off.
I know No Script is an open-source software, and so they'll no doubt address this issue at some point, but until then, I need a script-blocking program for free that WON'T be an ass about letting me read my emails.

Well, I AM. Every time I try to open an email the following message appears:
![]() If I do 'Continue' Firefox freezes up on me and I have to close the entire program.

Re: Something OTHER than No Script?
OHMY! Have you tried opening your email with another browser OR telling no-script to allow scripts globally when you're in your email?

Re: Something OTHER than No Script?
I can open it if I UNINSTALL No Script (only gone to secure sites while that's been the case). I haven't tried allowing all scripts globally, since that defeats the purpose of having No Script in the first place. I tried to update Firefox (though it updates automatically, usually) and seeing if that will fix anything, which it didn't.

Re: Something OTHER than No Script?
Seriously allowing scripts globally for a few minutes while you're in a normal website is pretty safe. You might be afeared of a spam email with a script, but then only open the emails you are comfortable with. Open the ones from your friends or normal companies or associations you are aware of. Then when you're done with your email, turn off allow scripts globally. Or just use a different browser for email. Or convert your email to POP3 and pick it up with outlook express/windows email or another email client. I think it may cost money to do that with yahoo though.

Re: Something OTHER than No Script?
Yeah...that sounds okay. I just wish it wouldn't be so messed up for me that I gotta switch back and forth with allowing scripts globally and stuff.

Re: Something OTHER than No Script?
Oh, well, I've found noscript to be a pain like that off and on for a long time.
