Girl to Mermaid, Mermaid to girl

After reading this weeks chapter of One Piece I thought I`d start this.

in terms of whats out "The Little Mermaid" is an obvious one.


There was a small arc in the Kurohime manga in volume 6 I beleive where the protaginist shot herself with a bullet that turned her and her partner into mermaids.


Seto no Hanayome too! mer-people are able to change their form at will with the exception of teenagers where contact with water turns them into a mermaid.

You guys know anything else?

Been a long time since I've read it. I don't think it's explicit within Emerald Sea but there is a hell of a lot about mer culture and the ramifications of a human transforming into a mermaid within it.

Mermaid's Madness though has TF scenes yes.

On a related note, Jimryu's having a contest that ends today with mermaids. Okay, there's a hypno theme to it, but some of the entries have mermaid TFs.

There was a movie back in the 80's about a Mermaid in NYC that I remember having a pretty detailed transformation scene in a bathtub. I thought maybe it was just called "Mermaid", but I'm not having any luck finding it.

I believe you're thinking of Splash -- the reason "Madison" became a girls' first name.

There's a few storylines with mermaid TFs on CYOC, but I like this one in particular because it throws in some SW.

That's the one! I thought maybe it was Tom Hanks, but couldn't remember for sure...

Seems like nobody else thought that TF was worth posting, though. I can't find it.

If I recall correctly -- keep in mind that I'm old enough that I saw "Splash" in the theater when it was released, and have seen it on TV a couple times since, but it's been a few years -- there's little, if any, process.

Splash does have one TF with process. The bathtub transformation, all the others are instant.
