To lock your Win7 computer quickly, just hit Win+L !

It's a quick option to instantly ?Lock the computer? with just a simple shortcut key, but you will need to first need to Set a Password for your Windows user account in order to use the password locking functionality. Now you will be asked to enter the password to login.

I use that one all the time to keep nosy ppl out of my computer when I walk away.

Win7 tip - Snap to edges is a great feature but if you have dual monitors you can't snap to the area where the monitors meet. However, you can use Win+Left and Right Arrows to shuffle them into the correct position.

Must-have Windows Utilities! Peerblock - it keeps you safe while torrenting! CCleaner - It's a computer enema. Cleans all the crap out.

Use Win+Tab to cycle through open windows and hte empty desktop for quick one-handed navigation. Hold Win ley and Tap the Tab key to cycle. Release the Win mey when the window you want is displayed at the forefront.

This can also be done with Alt+Tab, but it's less special.

If you can't find the software you're attempting to download in a brick-and-mortar store, at least consult a reputable trade publication.
I've run out of sympathy for people who downloaded XP AntiVirus 2010 because it "looked legit".

Open Source software is awesome. GIMP can replace Photoshop, Open Office can replace MS Office, and if you have Ubuntu you have an entire world of software to choose from.

The funny thing is my Ubuntu can't connect to the internet, with the exception of when I'm on my college's wifi. Apparently my router is an outdated, overpriced piece of shit that's incompatible with the thing, so I'm stuck with Windows. -_-
