Been wondering if anyone knew of a couple of asfr themed ones at these sites.

ASFR=Alt Sexual Fetish Robots. Though about 70% of stories in story archives classified as ASFR have nothing to do with robots. I personally don't know why it's used as a catch all for inanimate Transformation. The acronym is for robot fetish so why are statue and doll fetish included? Actually is sort of annoys me, I look in such story sites for Robot TF stories and usually find maybe 1 or two.

Probably people just being lazy and not wanting to come up with a new term. Kinda like how a human into half animal transformation is referred to as "Anthro TF" where as "anthro" is short for "anthropomorphic" when by definition a human cannot be anthropomorphized due to the fact that anthropomorphism is the act of giving human qualities to nonhuman things like animals or objects. An anthro TF subject could only start as a nonhuman and become human-like if we all actually went by the meaning of anthropomorphic from the dictionary.

But w/e everyone's got their peeves.

Problem is new terms often don't stick, or people invent even more meanings to dilute terms. Case in point, I've seen TF being used in adult and often overlapping circles as a shorthand for Tit Fuck and Tentical Fuck. Anthro TF at least implies the end-result, and is less wordy Human to Half Animal TF, and a lot of TF fans would be violently opposed to Furry TF. And you can't just call it Human TF as DA and YouTube has taught me that just returns searches for people changing into different people kind of like Female TF returns TG results...

From what I understand, the term refers to Petrification, Hypnosis, time stop, freezes and Manniquins. The community for it used to be pretty large but has since died quite a bit.

I usually check the storyline tree on the Bearchive. Start with Hill house and work your way around from there.

I always took it to mean a transformation into an anthropomorphic animal, which actually makes perfect sense.

It only makes sense until you think about it though.

"ascribing human form or attributes to a being or thing not human"

See an anthropomorphic animal would be like... Donald Duck, a duck that has been given human attributes. A human who has been given duck attributes is not anthropomorphic but zoomorphic. This is the simple point that I try to make that no one seems to get. When transformation is involved you have a base human form which you apply animal qualities too, that is the key element which disqualifies the character from technically being anthropomorphic as they are not having human qualities being given to them but taken away.
