So, I made this salad

and it was actually pretty good. Nothing spectacular but the individual components were tasty and none of them clashed. It was basically quinoa, black beans, corn, green bell pepper and jalapenos with a cumin and lime vinaigrette. I had that and beer for dinner.

This is how I'm spending my Saturday night because, for some reason, my goddamn body is acting like it's eighty-five-years-old. I blame the weather. In addition to the ACL reconstruction I'm recovering from and uncharacteristically uncomfortable PMS, my old right wrist injury, thoracic and lumbar spine and left hip injuries as well as my shitty ankles are punishing me. I swear I'm turning into one of those old people who predicts weather changes due to joint pain. That or I'm pregnant. Everything aches.

I'm getting bored of feeling shitty.

I can often attribute my muscle aches and pain to tension that results from a lack of strength so I'm back in the gym, doing weights and yoga three times a week. That's all right. I'll be a beefcake before you know it.

For the last week though I've just generally felt lousy. My guts and upper respiratory tract are OK. The worst I've had is two episodes of passing nausea. I've been light-headed, achey and completely wiped out for a week though. I'm sleeping twelve hours and can still pass out for a couple hours in the afternoon.

Must see doctor.

I'm so grumpy. I just want to curl up in a ball and feel sorry for myself.

I went to bed around nine last night and was still completely fucking knackered at 7am so I took the morning off. I had epic nausea but no vomitting.

I'm going to pick up a pregnancy test on the way home just to rule that out.

And the only sandwich I want to be a part of involves two very attractive heteroflexible or bi men. Goddamn, I could go for one of those right now.
