Keeping the community together
It feels kind of weird that I'm doing this, since I really only started posting on the regular in the past two years or so. But I've been a member since the beginning and this place has been part of my daily routine for seven years and I'd really like to try to keep this little thing we've got together. If anyone has any ideas, please share them.
And here's a gif. so this post has some content :P |

Re: Keeping the community together
Its funny you mentioned this, i was thinking almost the exact same thing lol. Its going to be a sad day when this place shuts down indeed. Unfortunately i dont have the computer skills to run a forum or the likes, which would be my idea to keep this place going. Something along the lines of a free blog maybe?

Re: Keeping the community together
In all honesty, I feel like we just need more contributors. In the past, a lot of the good stuff was free or hadn't been shared before. Now the well is dry and a lot of the old artists have either gone or begun asking for money. Honestly, I feel like commissioning wouldn't be such a horrible idea if they didn't charge upwards of $50+ dollars for one fucking picture. Sure you can compare the hourly rate of how much they could be making while working, but you also have to consider how many other things the consumer can buy with $50+; a dinner for 2, new game, clothes, shoes, groceries, etc. The pleasure which can be derived from any one of those things far outweighs the pleasure derived from a single picture. In short, the increase in price for good art or process related material has diminished the community as a whole.

Thanks for the heads up ZZZ, i didnt know you had a forum. It may not be the process, but it may be a place for us to go when this one disappears.

![]() According to some other threads there might be a transfer of ownership, but JUST in case I do still think it'd be good to have a back up plan. You guys and gals are like good pals, and even if you don't share that camaraderie, it's still a good place to go for some content. Better than searching the world wide web by your lonesome. |

Re: Keeping the community together
Yeah, but at the time I saw it I had no clue. And honestly it still counts as without a background in the .gif it could be taken either way when looked at out of the context of the episode XD

Wait, the Process is changing ownership?
Huh. Well, as long as Lorekeep sticks around, I won't panic. |

Re: Keeping the community together
Yeah well, I doubt anyone will keep it going, and personally, I think it's absurd to leave this many people in the lurch. Sorry if that pisses people off for saying that, but what can happen now? I get banned?

I don't see any reason it shouldn't keep going. Honestly, forums like this are great for imagination and learning more about yourself.
