Apparently there’s a new female version of Thor, so Bojay put together this drawing of a transgendered Thor turned into a female. Cute, and a little embarrassing for the Mighty Thunder God!

Not only that but in the MARVEL MMO Earth X Thor was released as an alt costume for Thor. I've been running around as a TGed Thunder God. However there has been a sad lack of interactions with other characters on it. The only good line I have heard as been when you run across someone playing Hawkeye you get: "You know I used to be a man, right Barton?" Still, good stuff

I think there might be something current as well....there's a female Thor in the Marvel Puzzle Quest and I think it's from a new cover shot - since it's related to the Dark Avengers that the game started around.

The New Female Thor is not the original Thor - I am not sure if they have figured out who she is. However the original Thor no longer has his "Thor" powers and the new Thor does.

With Thor's whole deal being about worthiness (regarding being able to hold Mjolnir and therefore bear the mantle of Thor), it's actually interesting to see him being unworthy. It's like, when you see this great character, after a while (or sooner, for some people) you want to see that character torn apart, figuratively. Oh, he never tells a lie? Let's put him in a situation where he's forced to lie in order to avoid a bigger disaster than if he told the truth. Or have a person who has never killed and believes that killing is wrong be forced to kill someone to protect her family or her best friend or something like that, then deal with the mental anguish that follows. It's just storytelling, really. Storytelling and character building.

There is something like this in an episode 17 of the second season of Sword Art Online. Except the transformation the other way around with the woman becoming Thor.

Its interesting that we don't know anything of this new Thor yet. Other than she pissed off the original one for taking his Hammer. Looking forward to see where this goes, and who she is.
