Gormiti (TF/RN kids show)

a cheesy cartoon that features kids/teens transforming into "gormitis" to save the world. oh well

as some users have recommended me, I will move this thread from the everything else forum to here.

The kids change their physique and their voice becomes lower. The girl, jessica, is the only one that transforms into a more "human-like" monster

The shows features ocasionally TF sequences with different coreographies, and even RN . I got all the ones from season 1 . Some of them are kind of quick but if watched frame by frame one can appreciate the stages.
There is not a single one in season 3 asides from the generic ones.
Season 2 is still pending.

Due to lazyness I will only upload the female TFs, the male RN and TFs occur in the exact same episodes
Episodes 3, 7, 17, 21 and 26 are the only ones with different coreography asides from the generic TFs shown in almost every episode

I find it curious that the TF trend still lives in some kid shows XD

It was also a collectible figure/card game.. though honestly the name makes me think of some kind of meat filled pasta...

I think they were Italian toys, so it kind of explains it XD

I was surprised to find it in English with such usual actors
It was aired over here in Spain as well with a pretty decent dub...but I guess that is to expect since the cards were also released here

BTW I will have to check that chaotic thing , thx ^^

Actually there where/are a few shows that follow the formula of "kids battle monsters by transforming into monsters" and is pretty much always connected to a trading card game. Chaotic comes to mind, that even had a little TG when someone played Intress, an anthro tiger woman, as most of the characters where boys.

Re: Gormiti (TF/RN kids show)

Is it me or does she look and sound so disinterested in the first one?

She's like, "Oh, I'm transforming into a giant harpy-fairy creature. Yawn."

Also, anyone else getting Digimon Frontier flashbacks?

In that episode she had been hypnotized by the bad guys and forced to transform...she is like "yes my master, I will proceed to transform" but I guess it was kind of out of context XD

Like I said there where a bunch of shows that followed the formula, that season of Digimon was one.

Re: Gormiti (TF/RN kids show)

yes, this is clearly ispired by digimon frontier (worse Digimon Series IMHO).
At the beginning this was a action figures franchise, but the story of the cartoon is completly different from game story, maybe to makle the series more appreciable for kids
