I am pretty sure they exsit since there are anime about the subject and most Anime were Manga first.

I seem to recall an older Japanese OAV about a female wrestling league and a subplot involving experimental steriods. There was a super-brief muscle growth scene at the very beginning of it, but for the life of me I can't remember the title...
