Good Story On Overflowingbra.com
Yes, right, well, this isn't much of a find but I thought I may as well mention it here anyway.
I just had a pop round to Overflowingbra.com and noticed that the good fellow Gaffenheimer made an astounding story about BE. I was just wondering if the Gaffenheimer here is the same as the Gaffenheimer there, also, although it is rather a pitiful attempt at supplying something to the forum, I thought it was about time I did. http://www.overflowingbra.com/results.htm?varname=455 I'll delete the thread if it is the correct Gaffenheimer and he wants me to, just thought everyone here might like to know. I read the story: Mammalaria last night. It was is a well written story and worth a read. Plus I bet that Gaffenheimer would not mind the extra attention from fellow BE fans.

I love Overflowingbra.com, they got some of the best stories around.
Three cheers for Gaffenheimer...if they're the same person! (Drinks Rum) |

As soon as I saw 'ment' in the changes description, I immediatly backed away. I can't stand mental bimbo-ification, and that's what that descriptor means 99.9999% of the time.

That said, Gaff has himself a pretty nice "Part 1" of a story- I can bet we'll be seeing that temple at one point or another pretty soon, with pretty expansive results. Gaff, if you're reading this and open to comments, don't make them bimbos, at least not totally. Leave them some control. |

For a while, I actually backed away from a lot of the other "undesirable" tags too. Some of them are big, honking "NO" signs in my book. For example, transgender really isn't anywhere in my tastes. However, there have been a few stories that do incorporate TG elements, but don't really dwell on them very heavily. They don't completely drop the fact that a guy becomes a girl or vice versa, but it's so... unemphasized that it really doesn't make the story less desirable.
A good example of Ment not being bad might be... hmm, what was the name... Act of Faith. There's some mind control/ment going on there, but it doesn't so much turn her into a bimbo as... make her less up-tight. |

Wow. My ears are burning. Wow. Um, this was my first story... are there really that few good stories on that site as of late?
I'll say again: wow. Needless to say, that is me, and thank you for the... publicity. Heh. I'm working on the second part as we speak... I sort of wish I had that part done so I could have submitted it to the contest, but oh well. Thank you for the comments, and for the record, I don't plan to make them less intelligent, just overwhelmed by their sensations. And, of course, a little less inhibited. Although I do like stories where characters (male or female) are bimbified to the point where they can do nothing but obssess over their own primal urges, I don't feel like writing them. |

Story contest is over, my friend. Did you not check the Results Page on OFB? And the reason alot of "good" stories have not shown on there is the lack of feedback on them in the past. Ask anyone in here about a story, and you'd get 10000000 responses (thats a compliment to you guys), but alot of them aren't here and they rely on direct feedback to them (hence why they include an e-mail) and not alot of people utilize it. I do, as I'm sure there are a few others on this site that do. But believe me, as an avid fiction writer (I try to do something once a week) I know the frustrations on seeing the views but never getting any feedback. The true dedicated writers are the ones that continue in spite of such. The ones that are just doing it for one are the ones that will alot of times go for other green pastures.
Buddy, I'm gonna read your story tomorrow and let you know what I think of it. From seeing others on here, I'm sure I'll enjoy it. One last thing, did anyone else really love The Game (i believe that was the title) where it was the Jumanji type BE game? Has a follow up ever been written by the author or anyone else? I think out of all the stories, that one was my favorite by far. I know on Choose Your Own Change website they have a story line that goes that route, but I'd rather read a full story like it instead of a choose-your-own-adventure. I remember reading The Game back when MarkT's Story Archive was still active on the BEA and now that its long dead (as is my own writing gallery on the BEA) I rely on the OFB, which like many of you have said, has gotten kinda.. meh as of late. <i>Edit: I just realized this post puts me out of 'lurker' mode. Heh I guess I don't have much to say about art but when it comes to writing, a passion in which I love very much, I'll open up to ya.</i> Last edited by drummererb; 11-04-2006 at 04:17 AM. |
