Suggestions for TF "Defeat or Become" Media?

Hi all.

Looking for suggestions on movies, art, games, comics, anything really, with a transformation "If we don't beat them, we'll become them" theme.

The classic example of this trope would be "Night of the Living Dead." The idea is to have the tension of a carefully-waged conflict, where the human side is aware of what's happening or quickly learns within a short time of the start of the story. A single mistake causes someone to change sides in the conflict (either slowly or quickly) as they physically and mentally transform into whatever the adversary in question is.

Even if the process is not there, I feel mentioning the music video for "Into Your Eyes" for Armand Van Helden is okay.

Not really a specific media suggestion, but I think TV Tropes might be a good place to look. Specifically, their "The Virus" trope.

I'm seeing a lot of references to media that could be defined as "defeat or become". Just perusing through it, one looks kind of interesting: the movie Howl, which almost seems like a zombie movie with werewolves switched out for the zombies (also pertinent to this forum, there does appear to be a female TF).
