Zman's artwork
I believe it is time to show some of the drawings that I have done lately. They are currently in an unfinished state, but when they are finally finished they will be in color. Please let me know what you think about my drawing so far. You may be brutally honest with your comments.

Since you asked for brutally honest, I shall try to oblige by being honest, but not to the point of rudeness.
Even though I try to study as many little details in every art piece I come across, I miss some things, so please keep in that in mind. The first piece gives me the feeling that she is shorter than she actually is. I know that the lower body isn't all there, but what is there makes me think that from her torso up is stubbier than what her legs imply. As for the second, even though there are lines that suggest she is experiencing BE, the way her bra is makes it look awkward. It looks like it "broke' or won't fit, even though it is still capable of doing so. That's all I see for now. Even though I look over every detail, I miss things. Excellent job on these things. I wish you well! |

I'm not in a position to offer detailed critique right now, but I will say it's a lot better than some of the other "First-time" dreck we get here...

I ususally have problems with poportions and drawing hands and feet. I have taken some art classes in college, and it did help develope my drawing skills, although I'm far from being professional.

I agree mostly; some of the proportions are a slight bit off, but not enough to be annoying. The shading and lineart is good; not my favorite style, but it expresses the image well enough. It may be just me, but the lines around the bra on the second picture are a good idea, since it helps the feeling of actual process going on- it's just that for some reason it looks like they are shrinking instead of getting bigger. >_> Not art savvy enough to say why. XD
I think my favorite part is how you've done the lines on the clothing. All in all great job, hope to see more. ^_^ |
