Holy New Trailers, Batman!
The official trailer for The Dark Knight, which played during I Am Legend. If you hadn't seen it yet, enjoy:
**Edit: Every time I watch this, I keep seeing some of Jack Nicholson's Joker in Heath Ledger. Could it be that he could successfully pull it off? Last edited by JBird; 12-18-2007 at 08:26 AM. |

Looks a lot more explodie. I just hope it doesn't go all out with the generic action hero stuff and keeps the mood of the last flic. I am looking forward to this one...the whole re imagining work has been great so far. Being a Burton fan I'm glad to see the blood atonements for Batman Forever and B&R finally paid off in full.
Though I have to agree there is a heck of Jack Nicholson here, not so much simply Jack Nicholson's Joker, but the whole Nicholson-style character, gritty voice, whatever. Its came across like Ledger's doing a Jack Nicholson impression at at a party for kicks. |

Ledger looks like he's going to do an awesome job of The Joker. And, my God, the voice, the laugh, It's perfect....He should go into voice acting. Srsly.

Ok, looks pretty good. Is this like the sequel to Batman Begins?

Heath Ledger i think is going to give Jack Nicholson a run for his money. still not show him up but still be up there with him. from the trailer he is one evil SOB the laugh alone was great. this is going to be one hell of a batman movie..

Oh my goodness, yes. I really want to see The Dark Knight. Not only is Ledger sounding and looking great (per se), but the film looks like it's taken some more cues from the comics (in terms of distance and placement).
And the laugh didn't get me. It was "Hello, Commisioner!" THAT line made me giddy. |
