Another Poser AR Animation
Inspired in turn by aprilchange's AR animation, I made one of my own. I think it turned out pretty well.
Note -- this isn't the same rigged character from adult to child. To accomplish the effect, meshes had to be exported, re-imported, made into morph targets, etc. Poser isn't built to make this sort of thing easy, unfortunately. Wish it were. Enjoy. |

V3 yes, but also StephPetite 3, Laura 3, and Maddie 3. The animation just morphs from one mesh to the next. Possible, because those 4 meshes (and every other 3rd gen DAZ model) use the same mesh, just with the vertices in different places.

Re: Another Poser AR Animation
Fine work there sir!!
That works a treat, looks like ill need to upgrade to poser 5 if this is what you can do with the models, my copy of 4 is OK, but runs in 9.2.2 and falls over due to a lack of memory if i try any thing too tricky, its not progd. to work on an eMac B(, ap C |

In short what I did here: file->import ( adult figure geometry from : Runtime : Geometries : DAZPeople : ) object->load morph target ( each of the other figure geometries ) add textures animate the morphs For this to work, the OBJ files in the geometries section have to be meshed the same (the DAZ 3rd gen models are). And note, the imported mesh CANNOT be posed -- it's just the mesh in its zero pose. There is no straightforward way to have a character who can both morph like this and be posable. |

Re: Another Poser AR Animation
yeh, i could do it when i had p5 on a PC, now i have an eMac 700/512 10.4.2 and the copy of p4 runs in classic mode or native 9.2 im going to get a copy of p5 from a seller on ebayin the new week or so, this will run in 10.2.4 or higher so i will be able to run the figures like you say, until then im stuck with p4 and p3 figs a have tryed to put vic v4 into runtime and all thant but its not doing it, even some of the props i have wont load into the props shelf and have to be imported as an object via the menu.... enough for the tech... been playing with an animation that has uneven growth in it will post in growth later... ap C
