I support Leo fully, not only because I know the stuff he has gone thru but also because I've been in similar situations and know that there's little one can do when RL crashes upon you; sometimes people on the north side of the planet tend to forget that in the south things go a bit rough at times, maybe in this days some of you are experiencing a bit of that.

Not meaning that everyone up there is rich or with nice jobs, mind you.

IMHO, a donation is free willed, not forced in any way, one decides how much to give -even a damn dollar- and isn't a payment to get a service, is to support an artist you happen to like; in this case, Leo spend part of his time setting up the accounts until RL got him again.
Problem with that? Is HIS art and he choses to do with it as he likes, and most of it had been for free in Transfur; even the comissions he has done have been posted by its owners for free, when they want. (Cearenbow posted his Chimera by Leo on FA).

And any creator has the right to mess with their art/stories/comics any way they want, why all the fuzz about it? I'm doing just the same with mine, wanna do something then comment, support, advice, sugest, offer a host, donate (yes!) you can whine but that never has done anything to help.

I help Leo when I can with what I can, he only has to ask, have you done the same with any other artist?

I'm glad he's okay, I'm happier he's back again; have lost some artists and friends down the road to be complaining about Leo's issues, but then again, that's what many people do in these forums, their only contribution is to complain.

Seriously guys. This is pretty much the EXACT same thing I was complaining about about with Lizard's super good buddy. It amazes me that Lizard doesn't see that.

NO UPDATES.

NO quick comments on the site in question about progress.

(I later learned there were some infrequent information about the site's status on a different site but not on the site that was begging for money.)

But Stonegate eventually came through about 2 and 3/4 years later. And I respect them for the efforts and eventual success.

I don't know. Seems that some people are supposed to be super patient about donations and some people aren't.

But, yeah, updates are good.

That being said, it's great to see more of Leo around!!
