Office Restructuring

New comic I've been working on, nine pages of a cubicle worker into a receptionist. All SFW.

Beautiful linework and transformation. I like how his breasts expand into his hands.
Out of curiosity, how did you do the speech balloons and what's the font in your comic? For the life of me, I can't find a reliable means of creating them in Photoshop. |

Re: Office Restructuring
Love it. The face change was really good.
I just noticed that. Very cool.

Very nice. Perhaps would've liked some more makeup and jewelry adds but overall this is very nice work indeed.

Re: Office Restructuring
Loved the sequence and the story. I'm curious as to how the "big boss" is pulling this off...perhaps there's something on the memo?

Great stuff, as per always. I really liked the look of the boss man. Exceedingly sinister.

Re: Office Restructuring
Thanks for all the kind words, I've been toying with the idea of starting a poll on my account and letting people decide what happens next, but I may have to hold that off until school's over.
Quote:
I do the text first and position everything on a page, then on a layer underneath I go in with the ellipse tool and make the bubbles, stroking the path with the brush tool. Then I either draw in or use the pen tool to make the "tails", erasing the bits where the tail and balloon overlap. If there is any lineart underneath then I'll fill the balloon with white. Alternately you can create a layer under the text and use the ellipse selection tool, fill the selection with white, draw in the tails and then go to layer effects and add a stroke. And the font I use is called "Digital Strip", I've been using it for almost a year now. blegh, hope that helps.

Re: Office Restructuring
Hmmm.
I both like and don't like. It's a bit too far back down the sparse lines style, which makes the occassional sparks of detail in it seem more creepy than pleasant. *shruggles* Thanks for sharing though. |

Re: Office Restructuring
I don't know if it's even loosely based on this or not...but this is part of an interactive on choose your own change that is a similar storyline...maybe you could make this into a multi-part series using some of the other ideas as this thread progressed!
