There's a thread on General Discussion about the suggested idea of merging the AR/AP Section with the SW and/or GTS sections, due to AR/AP having a lack of updates and/or interest. I suggest that we keep this section open by trying to find new AR/AP material or at least submit our own.

Re: Save our AR/AP Section
Why dont we merge everything into Transformation since everything is just a branch of bodies transforming anyway.

Isn't it just one guy spouting off because he's not seeing the content he wants?

Re: Save our AR/AP Section
The biggest issue isn't just about AP/AR, it's actually of people doing things for the Forum. It's a fact that not a lot of people actually find things, let alone make them, for the people here. Usually, if you want to get something, you either have to wait an eternity in hopes for your request to come up, pay up commissions for works, or just do them yourself.
Also, the issue isn't just about the works, but also the quantity of old works. People always want more and scoff when someone brings up something that looks new to them, but might be old to the Forum. That doesn't really give people the feel they should keep looking for more. Plus, when someone decides to take requests, either they don't end up getting any because their artwork isn't of the best quality, or they end up flooded to the point that they have to forcefully shut down the request line because they can't do them all, or end up feeling rushed because of it. I'm talking generally-speaking, but also of my own experience. So instead of groaning over why that part of the Forum should change, try and actually come up with pictures, sequences and stories to actually fill it up. *sigh* Okay, enough ranting. Time for me to go back to writing my story.

Re: Save our AR/AP Section
There's no need to worry. The thread in the other section is nothing but all of us talking about how silly it is that someone wants to merge ar/ap into Sw/Gts.

Re: Save our AR/AP Section
The amount of content may wax and wane often, but AR/AP is a popular process regardless. The chance that it'll go away is very small, so don't let the trolls/ragers/whiney-men get to you.

Re: Save our AR/AP Section
Uh, try again.
I wanted to merge them elsewhere. Not close them down. That way they could get more exposure and maybe get people that wouldn't ordinarily see them interested again. Is reading comprehension something that is lacking around here or what?

I suppose I could work on my drawing, but it'll be a few days before I'll have anything worth submitting.

Re: Save our AR/AP Section
V, merging them elsewhere would only clog up SW/GTS with stuff that a lot of SW/GTS fans dont like. They're for the most part, entirely different fetishes. There's no need to merge them away. Besides, merging them would make content of all sides harder to find, not easier. Age fans would have ot dig through Size threads, and Size fans would have to dig through Age threads, and the obvious solution to that would be to apply tags at the head of each thread title, but then why not jsut separate them and make all content easier to find?
This is why we have separate sections to begin with.

Re: Save our AR/AP Section
As a fan of both AR and SW, I would actually prefer to keep them separate. From what I've seen the lack of new AR content (the apparent reason for this discussion) is happening because many classic AR artists, including myself have since moved on or made changes to their material because of the controversy that may exist surrounding AR. I often review the earlier works of Bojay and Dreamtales and remember that good AR content used to come out quite frequently, great comics like the original Lauren and Betsy, or Bojay's Magic Dice game. Now I find myself reluctant to see Bojay's new works on his premium site (which if we're lucky, 2 or 3 images every few months) because I've often found myself disappointed with images lacking any real process or images of adult diapering, or see Dreamtales latest AR comics suffer due to limited process brought on due to an obvious desire for censorship.
This dry spell we're suffering is hopefully a temporary problem, though it almost has me consider coming out of retirement if adding some fresh content will save this topic. But that's just my opinion.
