Thats a really powerfull one unlike the heroism.
What if could stack?
OH! And it can, but just twice, you get the growth buff.
Logg out, logg in talk to him to he cast the pretty rare grow buff again.
And it stacks now, on topp of the first one. You must use it you get verry big that way.. and then stack it with every thing elseyou can make up.

hurrah, spectacular failure on Vashj! It's a naga though, and not one of the prettier races.

Yes, I know how powerful paladin healing is, but you've missed the point. I didn't roll a paladin to play a healer. Period.

Also, I did play a protection spec for awhile and owning rogues (or warriors, or melee shaman, or hunters, or feral droods) into the ground is fun. However, I still got destroyed by competent (and I don't use that term lightly) mages and other casters. You might say there's a rock-paper-scissors element at work between classes, but if you ask me that's a shitty model to design combat around, plus most classes have some way of altering their tactics to effectively fight their 'nemesis' class.

And if you'd like to challenge my experience in these matters, I had one level 70 paladin and a few other assorted alts. Just look up Aurius on Daggerspine if you need proof. I believe he still has his prot spec setup, but the gear I had before quitting wasn't quite optimum for that particular spec.

Also, also, I'm sorry if I seem to be derailing things. I promise not to do it again. ;p

Usually just a lurker, but....

Then you rolled the wrong class. Go make a warrior.

I did, actually. Played one up to 65 or so but never really came around to the idea of being a really angry meatshield. Which brings me back to that other point, which is that I really liked the idea of being a heavily armored do-gooder with a hammer; the kind that rights the wrongs, delivers justice, and destroys every knee-biting ganker in sight for the fun of it. No other class really fit the bill on that one and I guess in the end none of them did at all. That's not to say I didn't try to make it work, but after a good long run with a guild I really liked and after trying just about every class... WoW got stale. So I quit.

Oh yeah, even though I spent so much time playing the class, it really didn't sink in that it wasn't built as advertised until it really felt like it was too late to turn back.

i think you are over looking it. Even when i saw paladin, i knew they'd be more defensive than offensive. Protect the people?

even in WCIII they weren't high damage output in anyway. they could rez, heal, and divine sheild. they had NO direct offensive moves. The WoW class follows the hero from WCIII pretty well.

so to assume anything else is your own delusions imo.

A purely defensive class would have been interesting, I'll admit. But in all honestly the only defensive spec you could take was prot and that was only useful versus enemies that used melee heavily.

And again, the point here is that WoW's (and WC3's) paladin was not the paladin class I had intended to play. The opeing descriptions do little to outline the class's role (or at least they didn't when I started) and I was under the impression I could do whatever the hell I wanted to with a class regardless. No support classes, remember? Only with time, experimentation, and lots of gold did I come to understand that WoW was turning into one big grind-fest and I had picked a class I didn't like. That's all I'm trying to say, and its not like it matters anymore anyway. I don't intend to go back any time soon.

Transporter Malfunction!

Managed to stack a couple malfunctions today

One to turn my d0rf into a female dranei (after a brief stint as a gnome), another which made her bigger.

Went to Ironforge, found some shammies to cast Heroism on me then popped some grow pots.

And I fraps'd it all, enjoy
