Commissioned Artwork : Veldt

Alright, let me post this before one of you jokers do it before me.

I've commissioned art for her for years, but this is her first full BE piece. Enjoy.

Just chop off the first "http://", since he accidentally put it in twice.

Wow, good to see more of Veldt, Devon. And there's a lot of her to see. I like the intimate setting and lighting.

The lighting definitely adds a nice sense of depth, and the overall presentation is nice. Great work. ^^

Hey, Trilliwig! I didn't know you hanged around this place.

Indeed. Without an actual growth process it's probably too large for her, but I wanted some pure BE for my girl. It came out pretty nicely, especially with the lighting effect. Very intimate.

Originally I though that the coloring was a bit off: I felt that the eye glow was too pronounced, that her hair was too deep a shade of purple and that her clothing could use a different color pattern. I simply mentionned it to BoobdolLz and he did some quick modifications, free of charge. Now that's good customer service! The pic on his DA account is the original though.

I don't hang around a lot of places, but this one makes the grade. I've even started posting here recently.

Good to hear he's amenable. I might think about commissioning him as soon as I come up with a worthy subject of my own.

Is that really the wrong shade of purple though? It's exactly the shade of purple from your MMOArt and Tigersan commissions. Reiq's art does give it a more burgundy hue. And I suppose no one would know better than you what Veldt's hair should be like.

Yah, a bit too purple. Technically her hair are pure black but with the color pattern of her normal costume, most artists seems to like to add some shades and textures to them. Reiq almost made them deep pink actually (it's more obvious with the original artwork), as if the glow of her eyes reflected on her hair. With his amazing coloring skill he was actually able to pull it off quite well, but most other artists just keep some purple to them.

Anyway...

I would definitely recommend BoobdolLz's services. He's a great artist obviously, fairly affordable and has a real knack for understanding his customers wishes, which is a great.
