So what if he wants to get his "jollies" for free? Some of us actually would prefer if we could not have to fish through a bunch of links (to God only knows where) or joining some pay site when a goddamn thumbnail would suffice.

Man if only...oh i don't know, if only there were some...some kind of website or message borard wherein pictures of Process can be posted. Some kind of Process forum, if you will.

That link at the top is far easier to post than some sample pictures. In fact, all you got to do is just click the "Over 18" button and viola. Underneath the large picture( cannot miss it. It says "Growth Spurt") there are three little blue buttons (labeled 1, 2, and 3) that will give you sample pictures. No it took me 30 seconds to figure the whole of this out, and I do not speak Japanese.

Click.
Ta-da.
Done.
It might have taken the topic creator one to two minutes more to just add the sample pictures her. Therefore, he must have thought that people could find the pictures easily and did not bother to waist space on this website.

If you honestly think that wanting to click on thumbnails as opposed to parsing some website in a language i don't speak is somehow "greedy" you either need to look up the definition, or you're thirteen.

"The media". Really? Seriously? The media makes people not want to go through hoops to look at what amounts to porn? (and yes, it's a fetish, it's porn, thats why half the BE sites in existance are "adults only" before someone tries to call it art or something)

I speak three words of Japanese and read none and I can navigate my way through any Japanese site in a matter of minutes I call it tabbing and looking at the little bar at the bottom of the screen called the status bar even though the page is in Japanese doesn't mean the URL is. ^_^ and I don't need DLsite emailing me about posting their images on othersite's like they do to people who do.

Anyway, what's stopping any of you from posting sample images to help others like yourselves? It's a perfect opportunity to contribute positively and become a useful member of the community.

I guess greedy is the wrong word, as it usually applies to wealth or possessions. Selfish fits better. People want life easier for themselves. That is still selfishness to a degree.


Now the media does not make anyone do anything. It does not force you to do things, but it tries to influence people. And people are idiots. They go along with it. And a current theme that western media has been going through is the idea of "instant gratification." You tell me you have not seen it? The rise of fast food, easy and quick ways to lose weight, credit cards, horrible instant coffee, etc. We like the idea of quick and easy.
I am not saying that go-go-go is a bad thing or that things should be harder for people, nor am I saying wanting something sooner than later is wrong. It is just that some people take this idea a little further than it should go and assume everything should be this way. They expect it to be easy. Worse are the ones who are impolite about it. But this is just my opinion.

His message wasn't very polite, but it's always a nice thing to post a preview. Everyone should keep that in mind when posting.

Not everyone on this site is good at researching (if they were, would we even have the request thread?), so it is usually the best course of action to either supply a preview image or a good chunk of detail to inform those reading the topic.

I know this doesn't necessarily apply to his post, but we should keep others in mind and be friendly instead of taking out anger on others.

And more so, your argument is a complete fallacy. More specifically, a false-delema fallacy. You presume that there is no middle ground between people being quote "selfish" unquote and posting a fucking picture. Maybe, just maybe, some people don't want to waist their time if the content is not for their tastes (folks have other things to do in their life, you know). Maybe some people don't want to trudge around some obscure website in a language they don't fucking speak. Maybe no one gives a damn about weather you think they're "lazy" or not (though your use of the word lazy here is misplaced, since the onus would be on the person saying "Hey check this out!" to show what he's talking about not the guy he's asking to take a look...but what do you care about facts and shit, amirite?) so your argument is complete BS, wrong and a logical fallacy.

That's three points of FAIL.
