Underworld:Rise of the Lycans - Any reviews?

No, there is a decent one with Lucian however.

Disappointing, but I really wasn't expecting anything after the first two movies. Still might be a decent flick.

As far as prequels go it did an excellent job of setting up the backstory.

The only problem is that Victor's motivations still seem unclear.

I thought it was a good movie. It shows like lucien said in part 1, The vampires started the war. There is a lot of action towards the end as in the trailer. Kinda sad he had to see her die right in front of him. Even though in part one you see a glimpse, you see all of it here.

In fact strangely enough there were no female lycans.
It was a good movie which showed why there was this vampire/lycan war going on.

Well, I suppose the censors are more permisive with gore and violence than about some "hairy breasts"... they try to avoid a R rate at all costs, I suppose.

*sigh* I don't see why we can never have female lycans in these Underworld movies. It's not like no females were ever infected, clearly they were. I guess they're all escorted away to secret breeding camps and never heard from again.

I blame the vampires!

Victor killed the only known female Lycan (Lucian's mom) not that she was a MILF or anything... I'm just glad Victor gets his head cut off in the 1st movie. They never did explain why Lucian could turn human though...
