AR/AP Sighting!

I have a sighting although I don't know how to rip pictures from the anime itself. It's from Episodes 25 & 26 of Ah My Goddess, if you haven't watched it yet. It's about a young man who meets a goddess & falls in love with her as she grants his wish. Anyways, turns out she has two sisters who visit later in the series. An older half-demon half-goddess sister named Urd who is a tan lady who uses powers often, kinda reminds me of Ryoko from Tenshi Muyo, then we have the little sister who is a whiz mechanic & is immature but wants to be an adult because she never gets any attention from her sister. What happens is, that the system of Heaven named Yggdrasil fails & the power flow for some reason in Episode 25 makes Urd a small 10 year kid while you find out later that the power is transferred to Skuld, the younger sister turning her into an adult form. Urd becomes an adult again & there is a slight process there but Skuld still remains an adult due to the system still being down. I'll leave your immaginations to see how this all turns out.

Still frames? Difficult. Certain software (ATI's media center if you have an ATI video card, QuickTime if it's an accepted format) can nab still frame shots. The reason it doesn't work so well is that the video is actually sent straight to your video card and substituted over a place holder, usually a green or black box.

Clips? If you've got XP, you already have Windows Movie Maker. Not the best designed or suggested method, but it works and it's free, and the learning curve is pretty flat. Makes semi-compatible WMVs too.

These aren't WMV Files, well, I got them, somehow, thank you RANDOM CLICKING! Joking, I figured it out, just took something most people don't normally do, READ THE INSTRUCTIONS! Mwahahaha, fear the instructional tutorage....if that's a word, anyhoo, what your all waiting FOR! AP & AR PICS!
Sorry for the size.... errr. crud....won't accept file types, sorry guys, one moment... Ok, fixed, just download & unzip & enjoy the two AR pics, Note: Best quality I could get with VLC Media player, if your asking what it is, it's for specific file types that don't work on Windows Media Or Winamp or DivX.

Nice work- any chance you could post a couple more screen-grabs to show more before/after for those of us unfamiliar with the anime?

As for VLC, it's a must-have. I'd say it's probably the most reliable method available for playing .AVI's on OSX, and the platform support is incredible.

If you're a Linux or Mac user, or you just don't like MediaPlayer, you've gotta check VLC out: http://www.videolan.org/vlc/

To be honest, the anime shots of the AR/AP were pretty lackluster. If your looking for some really good shots, go the the AR archive and check out the manga. The manga scenes were tons better than the anime.

Koneko-Chan, you probably missed the final two episodes of the first season of the Ah! My Goddess TV series. Check and see if your "complete" first season has only 24 episodes. What they did was release the final two episodes, 25 and 26, the extremely truncated version of the AP/AR arc, as "bonus" episodes after the normal run of the first season was complete.
