Well I understand the limited number of $ requests and suggestions at this point, the best bet would be to find a middle ground. As you've seen for Locofuria's works (as an example), a majority of his stuff is priced at $8 or $9; the reasoning behind that is it being the middle ground enticing people to purchase what you create. I'd stand by maybe $8 for starters as a "new artist/writer" and if it sells well, then you can bump it a tiny bit as a premium for increased quality. I've also been watching Mad Men for the past three hours, thus the business rant lol. Regardless the work looks fantastic and I look forward to it being completed!

Hmmm... I'll kick that around and see. I mean, I'd like to make more so I can pay myself back for the illustrations (that were completely and totally worth it to pay out of pocket) but I don't want to alienate people with a higher than normal price even if there are 30+ illustrations.

He is *fabulous* to work with so if anyone is looking for an illustrator, don't hesitate with him. Seriously, the guy is great and very patient.

With 30+ illustrations, that is above average, so the fact that readers get two things for the price of one would warrant a higher price. I would stick to $10 then, and worst comes to worst, you can always lower the price if it doesn't sell as anticipated; it is fair considering what is being offered to everyone. Regardless, it looks great and I intend to get it once it is released.

No problem!

All the illustrations are done and I've worked with him on the cover so he's detailing and coloring the cover. I'm hoping just a couple more days for that.

While I'm waiting for him, I've been polishing it up, adding a bit here and there. I've got it up to 57,500 words or so and 35 illustrations.

I'm going to put it out on Barnes and Noble and Amazon as an ebook for $6.50 as soon as he's done with the cover. I've got the details saved and just waiting for him to be done

Almost there! I'm pretty excited

By the way - my avatar is from one of the illustrations.
