I get how it'll be more realistic, though that headwear is a bit wonky for that IMO, but somewhat sad we won't see growth on screen.

Yeah, hopefully they won't make him a dumb brute like in Batman & Robin.
He's dangerous because he's both smart AND strong, that's what makes him such a threat and how he managed to break Batman's back.

No, but seriously, I really do hope Nolan can do Bane justice, I'm just just gonna have to wait and see, however I can say that the mask looks kinda stupid to me. ...(I still miss the fact he's not a luchador. Maybe that's just me though)
