Re: Save our AR/AP Section

I'll open coms for this in Feb. It needs more content, its non-nfsw, and Im neutral to this fetish so I can work on them without probs and help pay my flat, food and uni.

AR will never get my attention and good AP that doesn't all the way to old age is really rare, hence the lack of comments.

The old saying goes if you what something seek it out and if you can't find it make it, they will come. In short if you find a lack of what your looking for, find others who share in your interests, ask for art request based on such topic or better yet commission others to draw and write about such stuff, then share it. With out it the content you seek will always be lacking.

And as a nod if you see something others like that you don't you'd be kind to post it here even if you dislike that kind of content. In return others might just fill kind to do the same.

I might also add its a good idea to share in conversion in different ways. An example might be like if someone posted a drawing of regression or progression, that is done a way you do not care for it, but the artists work is quite wonderful, tell them how good there work is anyways. In this case something as simple as wow your art work is wonderful say do you happen to do art request or commissions of other works by chance.

Artist love to have there works read, seen and commented on. They like to be told the work they submit is at lest seen, cute, wonderful, artful, colorful esc. For example I hate progression in most cases but every-once in a blue moon someone does it a way I think is very neat so I post a comment saying that I enjoyed it in some way even if its not my cup of tea.

Well, AR/AP is not my main transformation fetish, but give it a look around DA, furafinity and places where they post raw scans of mangas... just to give an example. There is also youtube... hell, way more places we had compared to a few years ago.

I'm the same way but I really should stop lurking, which I admit, I am very guilty of and start commenting a lot more.

And I have to agree.. It is dang hard to find any decent AP these days that isn't Old Age, which is a fetish that I can't even begin to understand, much less appreciate. I haven't written many AP stories but I'll see if I can get around to at least making an effort to contribute.

Re: Save our AR/AP Section

I'm actually only an AP fan in this section, not AR, so this section is usually disappointing for me, but hey, it's still the best community I know of for ANY content, so why complain? It's not like having fewer sections is going to boost the bandwidth or post count.

Re: Save our AR/AP Section

Well I'm usually a AR combined with AP fan. I'm usually hanging around in the attribute theft thread and I help Max out in his group from time to time; transfertheme. The lack of content isn't just a lack of conversation or things drying up. Its the stigma that posting something that could be considered "underage" is bad and illegal. There are a lot of grey areas in this genre/fetish. The more people don't understand where the red line is the less and less content gets created. Plus alot of the old artists who used to produce fetish material for this fetish had to quit for one reason or another, ie jobs, family, ect. because alot of people just don't understand the fetish, because its not considered "normal".

I remember telling my wife about my fetish. Back then she had only been my girlfriend. She seemed a bit confused at first but I showed her some of the things I was in to. She admitted to not being able to understand it, but she realized it wasn't harmful in any way and she learned to accept it. She doesn't get into the same things I get into, but we both respect each others fetishes.

So in conclusion, alot of artists feel like they need to be secretive when it comes to there fetish artistry. I know that I am. I don't want to post any of my stuff on deviant art on my normal account for fear someone of my family might find it. Its a strange line us artists take when creating material for the community. We ride a very thin grey line of whats acceptable and whats not, while at the same time constantly afraid that one of our family members might stumble upon something we're drawing or writing. I don't have that fear as much anymore since I live with my wife and kids now, but I do still get scared when my sister starts using my computer every once in a while. Afraid she might open my "comics" folder on my D drive and dive into the Bojay folder, lol.
