Re: Yard Work (Part Three complete 8/1/13)
I really like see this turn into a age regression/progression comic. Perhaps you can have two different endings? One with ar/ap and other one on shrinking/growth.
Double your sales with little cost since most the artwork will done. |

That should be ready in early September. Thanks for asking!

If you reboot the series as AR/AP like you had mentioned, I will buy five copies!

Basically, I liked parts 1&2 a lot. Three was okay. If four & five turn out like you've described, I won't be buying them. Not as some kind of protest or anything, but because I've got zero interest in it. I suspect that fans of either genre are going to feel the same way, because those who like AR/AP won't be buying Parts 4 & 5, and those who like the other stuff haven't even read Parts 1-3, you know? |

Now that said I'm sure D.T. is writing this for himself and then just allowing us to buy to pay for his habit, admit it DT. :P, So we as fans have to take it with a grain of salt that the creator likes this and that's what he chooses to include in the story. That said I'd be perfectly happy if there was no GTS of any sort in yard work or puberty fairies, but I suspect that's not what's going to happen.

As for the current series, there is some age play / teasing in Part 4 but honestly Part 5 is pretty much a GTS / SM comic. I don't want people buying it and getting disappointed. Hopefully enough buyers will hang in there to make the AR reboot possible. |

Though that being said, I love a lot of the artwork but issue the same complaints as everyone else. If he's getting younger, then why doesn't he look younger. He just looks shorter. But she's diffidently getting older, but when moms gets splashed with the same stuff she gets sexier? Just.. most of this story could be really really awesome. If just someone would have went through it better. and as a side note, the outline of her glasses got forgotten about on page 36.

Seriously though, I've found that it just doesn't go as well if I approach a comic from the POV of "what might this genre of readers want?" Basically I have to be personally excited about a comic in order to get the motivation to do the best job I can with it. |

Re: Yard Work (Part Three complete 8/1/13)
Loved parts one and two. Part three was okay, but the whole thing felt like one big tease. There was less process shown I felt as well. The art quality is still pretty perfect though, gotta give credit where its due. One of the best looking process comics Ive ever seen.
Im sad to hear that most of what made the first two so great wont be in parts 4 or 5. Im less interested in GTS/SM than AR/AP, but interested enough I might give it a shot. If its less of a tease than this one, Ill probably still buy it. Still, overall enjoyed everything so far. Not sure I can recommend the third, and I will be reading reviews on the fourth before buying, but still looking forward to the release of the fourth. |
