Re: Bitten trailer

It is somewhat promising... but remember what happened with Howling:Reborn. The trailer was cool, and the TF seemed to be what we were waiting for, until we found out that ALL the TF in the scene (the bed one) was in the trailer. And at least, the werewolves there looked scary (save for the rat tail, of course). But we must wait.

Re: Bitten trailer

Oh god, AT LEAST a werewolf fiction where wolves look like wolves! This is promising, no matter what quantity of TF they show onscreen. It might even reconciliate me with CGI.

Thanks for sharing.
Now i do hope i will be able to see this in France...

Re: Bitten trailer

Isn't this based off a book series? So could be season one of many?

Possible, the book Bitten ends with resolution of stay in humanity/return to pack conflict though which I doubt a TV series will throw away so quickly though, so might diverge there.

And likely wise agree with trc071880, the first "origin" TF will likely be the only detailed one, if they have her time in city before the murders perhaps that one might be semi-detailed, but even in the book most of the changes are pretty darn quick.

You mean aside from Blood and Chocolate, The Vampire Diaries, and True Blood? I think there are too many shows with werewolves that look like real wolves. In real life I'm sure they must be scary to encounter, but onscreen they just look like dogs.

Yeah, I agree with you. The stereotype of wolf/werewolf is largely harmful for the real wolves, and doesn't do justice for those noble animals. A monster fits better to cover the dichotomy between good and evil that lies under the werewolf myth.

From the trailer when she is changing you can see they paid very close attention to detail her bones changing, her legs getting hairy, and even her fingernails fall off to make way for her claws fucking fantastic!

Well, werewolf descriptions by themselves are vague anyway, so anything that has part human and part wolf would work. Otherwise I am looking forward to this one, doesn't matter how the TF will turn out.

It is based on a book that's part of a series. Not all the books focus on the werewolves, the stories within that universe include vampires, demons, ghosts, witches, etc, but I think there's at least four books in which the werewolves are the central characters. So if this turns out to be successful then we may get TV versions of the other books as well.
