Difficult to find artist to commission

Have you tried emailing black-rat? My understanding is that he has open commissions, you just have to email for them.

The problem is that it is very probable that the same people there would also be here... BTW, you can try on DeviantArt. I am sure that you will find what you want there. Or something similar, though. Otherwise you'll have to raise more funds or go to the "do it yourself" hell :P.

I'm all for recommending artists, but when it comes to price, once you find the artist you think suits the style of what you want, you have to bite the bullet and accept the price.

You have to remember that a lot of these people are living off their art and if you think $50 a page, which can easily take 8 hours is too much, then you're admitting that $6.25 an hour is too much.

I'm not nearly as good as I used to be, but I'm trying to get it back, don't just go TG but I'm willing to draw stuff for folks if they want to challange me, working on woman to anthro bear tf comic at the moment, gonna post the whole thing in one go. Any ideas for after that would be welcome, I'm not nearly as good as I was to charge anyone. Just good training for me.

I'd suggest ditch the comic formal (10 panel/page) and use
the 'mother cel' approach to do 10 drawings all derived from the first one

2 - 9 take original drawing and change clothing,hairstyle
with simple machine arms holding scissors,combs,clothing at the sides
