*My* Drawings! :D

Oh my gosh oh my gosh! I get to be like the cool kids and start my own "drawings" thread! And that isn't even sarcasm!! How many exclamation points can I use in my sleep deprived excitement?!?! So many!!!

Hahaha! My second night of drawing practice!

First, thank you Dog_Girl_Kari, BQNK and Zipper for your advice and mini support in the other thread. I didn't want to be a greedy jerk and post in two different threads so I'm saying thank you here! I'm fairly immune to taking my toys and going home. I have no illusions about my skill and how the drawings look and so forth. I'm just having a lot of fun trying it out and actually making something that's recognizable. Practice, practice practice!

Oh my gosh. So excited. I'm going to use this thread to post my stuffs now and again and it's just for *me*

So, I tried a female werewolf POV this time. Again, I dug around to find a picture I liked and then I used it as a reference to draw the base.

Things I am proud of:

1. The foot in #2 and #3! I did it myself and I think it turned out nice!
2. The hand! I spent way too much time trying to figure out how to draw a hand that wasn't terrible. I used mine as reference. Seriously, I've tried here and there in the past to do an accurate hand and, no. No. It doesn't work. But I think it turned out really well in #4! I'm *especially* proud because the reference image only had the lady's hand between her legs (as I have in #1) but I changed it to show the forming paw!
3. The muscle and breast growth but primarily muscle growth. I think that did pretty good.

This was a lot of fun. A lot less mentally taxing than writing. Time consuming and difficult for sure and it's only super basic compared to real artists but I'm proud of myself. *patpatpatpat*

Not a bad attempt at a First Person angle. I would definitely try looking up some reference photos, they are really handy for understanding the shape of the body and what not. The hand is not bad at all, hands are one of the hardest things to do, period.

Nice drawings. And kudos to you for stepping outside your comfort zone. Definitely not easy to do.

This is where all "real artists" start. It's scary to face the all-thumbs feeling and push forward. It takes guts!

Re: *My* Drawings! :D

Thanks, everyone! I think I'm going to play around with a few bits of anatomy (heh) like just drawing a foot or just a lower back tail growth (with nothing else) to practice smaller things. Won't post those unless they look decent and are relevant but probably next.

Oh - although I may add to this sequence - move the hand, show the foot changing and possibly some extra nipples and such?

And then I think the next sequence I'll try it the opposite - looking up at a standing naked lady werewolf changing Will definitely need to do a ton of practice on faces though so it doesn't look totally comical.

Love the POV, and even if it's your first, it looks great!

I'm glad to see that you've gotten around to drawing. Anybody that expresses interest for this kind of stuff I think should give it an honest try. No reason you can't be an author as well as an artist of a visual medium. You have a lot of people to differ to for any advice and tips. Plus, internet's full of info too. Above all have fun with it. Enjoying it should be one of the most important things to keep in mind.

Re: *My* Drawings! :D

Guuuuesssss who bought a Huion drawing tablet and a year subscription to Autodesk Sketchbook?! MEEEEeeeee

Here are two more. A start and a little bit further down the road. Still no faces for me yet. But! I did a little bit of hands! The reference picture I used had no visible right hand (it was on the model's head, completely under her hair) and the left was only partially visible. I dug around for more reference pictures but ended up just taking a picture of my right arm in roughly the same position. I also added a tiiiiiny bit of coloring

I think I'll add a couple more to this sequence and then I'm going to try out the flipbook functionality to try a simple animation. That's kind of my goal - a simple werewolf animation. A ways down the road but, hey, I can have dreams

Took a bit to get used to a drawing tablet but I think I'm starting to get how different it is. Fourth drawing (I did a non-TF face portrait as a gift for my third drawing exercise and it turned out surprisingly good considering)

Doot-doo-de-doot!
