Does Anybody Know About Normal/Clean Pet Play?

I always thought that Pet Play was only a sexual roleplay, I never knew of the existence of a "normal" or clean one until I read this story:

It features a woman who searches for this kind of Pet Play and eventually finds one and live it out. She becomes a small kemonomini before living out the Pet Play she's been searching for.

If you're not going to let the story explain what a Normal/Clean Pet Play should "sort of" look like. It's basically taking care of your partner as if they're a pet, normally. There's none of that sex stuff as rewards or punishments. The Caretaker takes care of their partner like one would do for an actual pet, like getting stuff to feed them, take them out on walks, exercising them, playing with them, and all that without demeaning or humiliating them. Meanwhile the Pet just acts out whatever the animal they wanted to emulate and still have some freedom, like actually leaving if they want to or playing video games for example.

Okay, granted I got this up from a transformation story that explores the other side somewhat. But what I got from this is that there's clean version of Pet Play and it doesn't need to involve sex whatsoever or dehumanizing of the one playing the role of Pet. That's pretty much the gist of it.
