edit: Oh. nevermind, I see its performance related, and ff-x2 is probably very taxing, especially running through an emulator (and I wouldn't expect him to use gamebridge, as that costs money and isnt worth it.)

Do you have a DVD player that can record? If you do, you could just start recording at the scenes you want to use, and then run THAT through your computer, taking screenshots using the printscreen button (there are also programs for ripping images from video, but that would take longer then just copy pasting to paint).
