Try and find someone still working at Disney today who thinks that. As I said, it *was* a failure, but later came into its own. Sadly, after Walt passed away.

The Disney version of Alice is the version 90+% of americans think of when they hear the name Alice in Wonderland.

Some of the finest work in Disney studio history. Yea, I'm sure they're really upset with that failure.

The wiki later quotes Ward Kimball, animator, who considered it a failure due to too many directors on the film. But I gotta wonder if that quote was taken before or after it's re-release and rise in popularity.

Besides, movie companies rarely remake "failures". They try to forget them. Whats that say about Alice?
