A Slightly Sad Day
I can't really say I'm surprised. From Craving Control.

Thanks and So Long

Dear Readers,
Sorry for the unpleasant surprise, but I've removed all the content from this gallery. I'll close my account in a few days. I don't mean to be dramatic about it. I'm alive and well. This is just a personal decision, nothing more.
A lot of people seemed to be looking forward to the next episode. And yes, there were possibilities to have some great next few episodes. But, on the other hand, there was really no ending planned. None of the story lines were ever going to wrap up. They were always open-ended and I always knew they would just end abruptly some day. I like to think Lalia ended on a high note.
It was always a thrill to post a new comic and read the great comments from all of you. I can't thank you enough.
Please respect my privacy. It has been a pleasure to share my personal hobby with like-minded people. But it's time for me to move on.
Best always,
Arthur
EDIT:
"Why?" Some people have asked for a better explanation. That's fair. I replied below, but I wanted to say a little more, up here in the post. Basically, it's just that Craving Control is work I consider private. And yet, I've been sharing it on the internet for everyone to see. So there's a contradiction.
The readers have been awesome. It was amazing to post a new comic and immediately get a flood of comments. It made me feel very lucky. But, the longer Craving Control was here, the more people saw it and the less private it gradually became. I liked having a tiny, private audience. I never wanted to parade this stuff around or rub it in anyone's face. And I don't want it to live on forever on the internet. Even though I can't possibly control whether or not that happens.
A Request. Which brings me to a request for anyone who has re-published my work. I'm not talking about original fan art. Just things that use my actual drawings. If you've created a youtube video, wiki entry, or anything else public using my art, I'm speaking to you. Respectfully, please consider taking down my art work. I would consider it an act of generosity to me personally. Of course people have their private collections. And there are gray areas that I'm not going to get into. Just think about whether it's the right thing to do. That's all I'm asking. And thank you for caring enough to bother in the first place. It has been an amazing experience and the readers are the whole reason I ever posted Craving Control.
