Honestly, I think you could have done without completely. With a chapter like this, you show that you're no longer writting a BE story. You're writting a story, with BE in it. It might be an important aspect of it, but it's not the focal point of it anymore. The characters, their relationship with one another and the way they interact with the world is the main focus of this story now, IMHO.

Don't get me wrong, I still love BE, I still would like to see plenty of it, and I still hope for one the character to go wow-size one of those days. But I think that your characters are now developed enough that we actually want to know more about them, their background and their story, and not just about the color of their panties.

So yeah, I like this quite a bit.

Oh and, I know that it's been established that Tuica does not love Carline 'that way'. Kinda. But I'm still hoping that they eventually get together 'that way'. Yeah, I'm a softy. Don't tell anyone.
