2009 NFL Season predictions

Well, it's that time again. I was debating whether to put this in the F&BS thread, seeing as how many fans can root very proudly for their team.

I'm calling it right now. My team, the Pittsburgh Steelers will win the AFC North...with a losing record. That's right, The Steelers will make the playoffs being 7-9.

As for the past Superbowl, I did not expect the Giants to win. During their run through the Playoffs, I made excuses. When they beat the Buc's in the Wildcard game, I said it was because Tampa rested their starters the whole month of December because their division (As most of the NFC) is god-awful. When they bested the Cowboys, I assumed it was because ...well, it's the Cowboys. I still don't know how they beat the Packers, because Lawrence Tines couldn't even kick the ball through the gap in Strahan's teeth. (See what I mean about Flame and Bullshit?)

I didn't see much of the superbowl, mostly because I lost interest after the first quarter with all the 3 and Outs. I turn it on later, and surprised to see the Giants still in the game. Then, sitting in my Grandma's living room, I huddled around the tv with my family as I watched, "The Drive", resulting in Plexico's TD. And the rest, as they say, is history.

I hate the Patroits. I can't think of how my hatred for them started, but I just do. And as much as it pains me to say, New England will get the job done.
