For those only familure with Post Movie Rouge Rouge was originally part of the Brother Hood of Evil Mutants and absorbed the powers of Avenger Ms Marvel(AKA Warbird) along with her psyche, in the comics Xavier was able to fix Ms Marvel easily. And of course we have Mystique in several episodes shape shifting naturally.
