They are as fast as a quick plague zombie, with the same animal cunning, but have the difficulty to kill as Necromantic Zombies. They are raised by powerful necromancers in place of Necromantic zombies because they can infect, just like plague zombies. Luckily, Ghouls retain the Necromantic vulnerability to holy or silver weapons. The most effective weapons to combat Ghouls with are holy, explosive or mercury filled silver bullets or a blessed silver sword. If attempting to kill with the sword, plate armour is advised to stop them from infecting you.
