Part 13 3-1-12

Nel shivered as the cool winter morning roused her from her slumber. She yawned and stretched feeling particularly energetic on such a cold morning. Nel threw off her covers and climbed to her feet. She yawned and started for the kitchen to make an appropriate breakfast. Reaching for the doorknob Nel paused and looked around her room. Something seemed off, even though she couldn?t pin point that anything was wrong. She shrugged and stumbled herself into her family room.

?Good morning Shill?? Nel froze when she saw her family room was back to normal, her genie?s bed was gone replaced by her musty couch. Nel knitted her brow and shrugged. ?Shillan you here?? Nel called out. There was no response. I wonder where she went... She thought. Strangely Nel didn?t feel worried about Shillan?s disappearance. Nel grabbed some bread and eggs and started to make French toast for herself.

Nel smiled setting a place for herself; she was usually in such a rush in the morning! But getting to sit and enjoy her favorite breakfast was quite a treat. She was determined to savor it. No sooner did Nel take a seat at her table that she heard her door click. A cold chill ran down her spine and the hair on the back of her neck stood up. She jumped up and poked her head around the corner to see who opened it.

Nel sighed with relief when she saw Shillan standing in the doorway. Nel started to speak but froze when her genie stepped aside and a dark figure stepped into Nel?s home. Nel?s eyes grew wide when she saw the figure was holding Shillan?s bottle! Nel tried to speak but her voice was mute! Shillan began to step forward; Nel got a good look at her face. The genie girl?s eyes were filled with sadness as she approached her former master. Nel was frozen she couldn?t move, she wanted to run away but her body didn?t respond.

Shillan gentle grabbed her wrists and when she released then, golden bracelets has been placed around them. They instantly began to feel heavy, and becoming heavier by the moment. Their great weight pulled Nel to the floor making her bow before the dark figure. A glimmer of light caught Nel?s eye. She turned her head and shocked to her reflection in a mirror and see she was wearing Shillan?s clothing!
