They don't
have to do any of that, the idea alone that the bad guys know her real I.D would be threat enough. It's something they can further use as a bargaining chip to get the reactor. Also.. Tiger's talk about torture earlier might have been foreshadowing what's to come for poor Spinny. And again, they don't even have to actually
do it, just threatening to; putting that card on the table might be enough. They're well aware they they've caught a rookie Super-Hero, I doubt anyone thinks she'll be a tough nut to crack.
