Oculus Rift: TF possibilities

For those unfamiliar with the Oculus Rift, check out http://www.oculusvr.com/ It's a new, kick-ass VR headset that will be shipping out dev kits next month. Everyone who has tried it swears it's the most amazing thing and that it's the closest you'll ever come to "being in the game."

I've got a dev kit ordered and have been wondering about the amazing possibilities that thing could have for TF games and simulation. When I get my kit I'm gonna look into using the Unity engine and try some stuff out.

Growth - First person view of yourself getting taller. The room slowly changing perspective. If you get really big then you'd be able to walk around a city. The fact that you'll have a true sense of 3D and depth will be incredible. If you'd rather not be the giant but just want to see one that's always possible too. Arm yourself with a growth ray and go nuts on NPCs.

Shrink - Again, slowly changing size in first person and watching the perspective around the room change. Being able to run around beneath tables, chairs and other furniture.

TG - Looking down and seeing a new body, kind of like this old game. Being able to walk up to a mirror and actually be able to look into it. Shifting your head will change your perspective and that of the reflection. It would be freaking amazing if you could hook up some sort of kinect device or have your webcam track your arms so that if you hold your hand in front of your face you see that in the VR.
