AR age question

Hi all!

I know this is a very sensitive topic, and I know that Lorekeep is rather nervous about it, so please keep it clean and without insults. I'm mearly curious.

Over the years, I've been known to come up with some very racy stories, and found that some had content that wasn't acceptable to some (or most) of the audience here on the internets, so this is a fair warning that you may not like where my thoughts are leading.

There are as many ways to reduce a person's age in fiction as there are to transform that person, age simply being another form of physical transformation. This is not a "how" thought-line.

Imagine two people in love, very much in love. At this point, the age of the lovers doesn't matter. They find a "fountain of youth", go to a body parts cloning clinic or *insert other age-reversal method here*. They use this plot device to renew their love and their physical forms. And... there is an "accident" where one or both become a bit too young.

Mental processes remain the same, only the physical forms have changed.

My question is this, at what age do the charaters' physical forms return to a state which would cause "squickyness" or require a call to the pedo police in a storyline rated "adults only"?

For example, a loving couple of 45 want to revert to 20 years old, but are accidently youthened a bit too far. They're still thinking as 45 year olds, but their bodies are much younger. Both wish to explore their renewed bodies in an adult manner. At what physical age would the story become uncomfortable for you to read?

Should only ONE of the couple youthen too far, at what point would that person's age cause you discomfort?

As an asside, since real science is closer to cloning organs and skin, growing bones and such to replace body parts, I think this may be an area that comes into call in the next decade or two when the technology evolves and becomes available to the public. Placing a person's brain into a mindless clone may become a viable option to the wealthy, that clone may then be of any physical age, (or the body may be only 2 years old but be fully matured, having been grown in a lab). At that point, I think the matter of physical age for adult activities may be brought into question. Mental age is already a much disputed factor, as evidenced by court cases where a physically-mature but mentally-young and intellect-challenged person engaging in adult activities could be viewed as rape, as that person could be considered incapable of making or understanding adult actions and consequences.

Lorekeep, if this thought-line is out of bounds, feel free to wipe it. It's a 3am thought, and those rarely make for good reading.
