It's also not exactly a minor crime to knowingly use a fake ID for anything, period. And for those that can't puzzle it out, the spoiler for this story is below. Highlight to read. The DMCA notice is for her picture and signature on the fake ID, which she claims are copyrighted. This is funny for two reasons. It's a derivative work of a government ID, so it's not copyrightable, and by admitting that she produced the picture and signature, she's admiting she produced the fake ID as well. |
