Gyakuten Saiban (AP) "Turnabout Lawyer" AKA Ace Attorney. Update: Doujinshi (or fan made manga) of video game series. The assistants of main character Ryuuichi Naruhodou (Phoenix Wright) are members of the Ayasato clan (Fey clan), a family where the women are mostly spirit mediums. When they channel a spirit, their external shape roughly changes into that of the body the spirit had when they died; the spirit then has control over the body while the medium goes unconscious. The black haired girl, Mayoi (Maya), and her younger cousin Harumi (Pearl) are channeling Mayoi's deceased 27-year-old sister and Ryuuichi's former mentor Chihiro (Mia). I take it that somehow Chihiro got stuck in one of them, and they are trying to get her out. Previously posted links:
