Tracing =/= art
Tracing == duplicating/imitating another's work

If credit is given and the work is offered originally as not being original, that's one thing.

Not only does this not offer it as being someone else's work that you traced/redrew, it pretty much implies that it's your original work.

Hence why you're not getting much love at the moment. The transformation communities tend to be fairly closely knit and don't like it when others are stolen from.

yes that is true PrBlahBlahtson. but as i saw the picture of both of them improved lineart was made. he might be saying he made the lineart more viewable to us. he could mean it in that direction.

I'm sorry guys I know I didn't go through the proper motions. I drew it free hand based off of the original. I just have trouble starting from scratch. I drew this to see if I could get the scale and angle down. I have no problem telling you that this is not an original. I just wanted to know if it looked good.

well to me Being Honest was the right thing to do right guys? now can we put this behind us and Wigit im going to be honest with you. in my own words. just please try to make some ARt that would be from your own ideas. me i am a improviser im improve work for other people as a request. and i color too but i still give info on what i did and how i did it for that person. thats all im not trying to pik on you Wigit im trying to help you. a person. no a person is too shallow. as a friend that is what i mean to put it in. ok?

Just try and quote original source material if you based it off something. It's really a no-brainer and people won't call you a thief. We have much contempt for people who copy other people's works and call it their own.

I don't want to throw gas on the flames, but, what I did say over at GTS Depot is that I would allow my work (lines that I drew) to be colored as I am not a very good digital colorer.

I'm flattered that someone would try to copy my work. And actually in all honesty, I wouldn't mind as long as credit is given.

Now if you, Wigit, or someone else wants to color it, that's fine. All i ask is that I'm given credit for the line art.

I will admit, it was kind of exciting to click open the thread and see that.

What was that phrase again? "Imitation is the most sincere form of flattery" or something like that.

Also, the only reason I didn't post it here, is because it's GTS. There's no process. Now, if Lorekeep wants me to post a high res(or low res) copy of it here, I can.

I'm sorry bud, I really did go about this the wrong way. Your work is amazing and I just have trouble getting down thous angles so I took a whack at drawing it myself. I would love to know your process.

Also I was wondering if you wouldn't mined If I tried a couple of your latter works out, redrawing I'm not good at coloring yet. Practice makes perfect and I love your stuff.

Ahh one more thing what did you thunk of the remake? Any tips or comments would be appreciated.
